Holyoke is located at the crossroads of New England. Interstate 90 (Massachusetts Turnpike) and Interstate 91 (I-91) quickly connect Holyoke to metropolitan hubs like Boston (1.5 hours), New York City (3 hours), Montreal (5 hours) and to New England’s second largest airport, Bradley International (30 minutes).

Passenger rail service was recently reestablish in Holyoke via the Holyoke Train Station (HLK) at 74 Main Street. Along with the daily Vermonter line which connects North to Vermont and south to New York and Washington DC, the new Valley Flyer service has started with four daily trips between Greenfield and Springfield. Holyoke transportation services provide safe, reliable and affordable transportation services to thousands of  passengers each year. The Holyoke Transportation Center located at 206 Maple Street offers bus service through the PVTA and Peter Pan Bus Lines.

Parking Information

The City of Holyoke currently has two municipal parking facilities:

Suffolk Street Municipal Parking – Located on Suffolk Street

Ernest Proulx Municipal Parking Facility – Located on Dwight directly across Heritage State Park & City Hall

Parking meters are also located throughout the City and offer convenient ways to pay with either coins, debit and credit cards through the ParkMobile App.

ParkMobile is free to download and available for both iPhone and Android devices. Users can additionally register on parkmobile.io. After setting up their account, customers can immediately begin using the system with their registered mobile device.

Bike Share

ValleyBike Share is designed to provide all users with a seamless cycling experience. ValleyBike Share stations are located in Holyoke, Amherst, Northampton, South Hadley, and Springfield.
